UFC commentator Laura Sanko is set to make her PPV debut in the commentary booth alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik at UFC 293. Before Sanko’s big day, a shocking revelation about her was made on a thread of a Twitter post.
Recently, UFC flyweight Tim Elliot revealed to the world that his marriage with partner Gina Mazany was over. The flyweight fighter accused his wife of having an affair with one of his teammates, ex-UFC fighter Kevin Croom. This whole scenario shocked a lot of fans. But on the Twitter post, Tim made a big reveal about how he got betrayed by the now UFC commentator Laura Sanko. He wrote in the post, “She was my friend and knew about my wife f**king my other friend. And she didn’t tell me!“
This revelation surprised a lot of fans who took Sanko as the great individual she is. But, Elliot’s marriage has been a part of controversy since June of 2023. The flyweight let out his part of the tale by accusing Mazany of being involved with Croom since the day they got married. Although Sanko’s involvement in this alleged affair is a new headline to the combat world.
UFC 293 is a big day for Laura Sanko as the 40-year-old is set to take a step in her media career. Nevertheless, news like this coming out before her big day could turn out to be an upset for Sanko.

10th September 2023, Sunday is going to be a huge day for UFC commentator Laura Sanko. The 40-year-old is about to make an appearance on the commentary team in Sydney for UFC 293. She will sit alongside long-time UFC commentators Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.
As an MMA fan, Sanko has followed the sport for a long time. Previously, as an MMA analyst, she’s moving up to the point of commentating on PPV events. A huge step up for Sanko in her career. Fans have shown love and support to Sanko as she grew in the organization in time. Her spotlight appearances used to be in backstage interviews with elite fighters. She also became the first female commentator to work in the Endeavor era of the UFC after commentating for Dana White’s Contender Series.
In a tweet, announcing her inclusion in the commentary team, Sanko expressed how proud she was to get that opportunity. Further, UFC fans will be looking forward to this new poetic touch of Sanko in the commentary team.
