“I’ll be seeing you all” – Dominick Cruz provides an update after the recent loss to Marlon Vera

Dominick Cruz

Dominick Cruz is a veteran in the sport of mixed martial arts. Cruz made his MMA debut in 2005 and since has dominated the bantamweight division. Through his wins in the cage, The Dominator has secured the position of an all-time great in mixed martial arts.

In his career, Cruz first captured the WEC bantamweight championship. During his time in the promotion, The Dominator faced stiff competition but managed to blaze past it. However, since the WEC merged with the UFC, Cruz made his debut in the octagon. In the UFC, he made a successful defense of his bantamweight title. However, a string of injuries forced him away from the championship.

But being the man he is, Cruz regained his crown when he beat T.J Dillashaw. While everyone believed Cruz was here to stay, a loss to Cody Garbrandt and a string of new injuries laid upon the fighter. Often due to the same, fans forget his contribution to the 135-pound division. However, there is no denying that through his style and movement, Cruz solidified his position in the UFC.

Recently, the bantamweight fighter was in action against Marlon Vera at UFC on ESPN 41. While many expected Cruz to return to his best, he suffered another loss. Even though he is suffering through tough times in his career, the fighter shared a message for his fans.
