Dricus Du Plessis’ comments about South African government goes viral after title win
Dricus Du Plessis is a proud South African, as evidenced by the remarks he made about his country. However, he did not share the same sentiment about the government of his country, led by the African National Congress. Du Plessis went off at the ANC during his interview with Nina Marie Daniele. He had earlier talked about his appearance on the podcast, The Coach and the Casual.
Du Plessis labeled the actions of the ANC as very corrupt. He even went on to name them the most corrupt government of all. Du Plessis has a great interest in American politics and is a fan of the former US President, Donald Trump. He briefly interacted with Trump at UFC 290 after he knocked out Robert Whittaker. Unfortunately, the Nevada State Athletic Commission fined him for the interaction as he lept over the cage before he shook hands with Trump.
Even though Du Plessis is critical of the ANC, UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad had showered praise on the ANC for their anti-Israel or pro-Palestinian stance at the International Court of Justice concerning the War in Gaza.
