Dricus Du Plessis recently sat down for an interview with Submission Radio. There he addressed Sean Strickland‘s recent gun controversy and said he found it to be the most normal thing in the world as he is from South Africa. Du Plessis shared his own story of his experience with home invasions in Africa. He said:
Just my own house growing up it's been broken into maybe six times...talking about the TV's gone, radio is gone, phones are gone, stolen right next to your bed, listen South African criminals aren't getting caught. These guys are smart.

Sean Strickland points a gun at alleged domestic abuser
UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently posted a video on his Instagram page. There he pointed a gun at an alleged domestic abuser outside his Las Vegas home.

The video captures a confrontation between Strickland and the man he accused of committing domestic abuse. The incident has stirred controversy, raising questions about Strickland’s actions and the appropriate response to alleged domestic violence. Strickland claimed that the altercation was an attempt to address the issue.
Sean Strickland posted the Ring video that captured the confrontation on Instagram. He detailed his side of the story in the caption. He wrote that the man allegedly ran from security in his after ‘drunk stomping out’ a girl. The car hit a curb which completely shredded his tire. The man apparently drove on the rim for a while before jumping out and trying to hide at Strickland’s house.
The UFC middleweight champion thought the man was stealing his car which was why he went out and confronted him. Strickland wrote that the man was later arrested by the police.
