Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in splits as Jumanji brother Jack Black ‘almost smacks UFC fighter in face’

Jack Black walked out with Stephen Thompson at UFC 296. Thompson’s nickname is “Wonderboy” which happens to be a famous song by Black and his band, Tenacious D. The coincidence flowered a friendship between the two and thus he walked out with Thompson. Dwayne Johnson had something to say about Black’s walkout at UFC 296.
The video of the warmup of Black before the walkout went viral on social media. In the video, Black almost smacked a passerby who Black thought was a UFC fighter. Johnson found the video to be hilarious and he commented on the Instagram video.

Johnson and Black co-starred in the Jumanji film franchise and that was where the ‘Jumanji brother’ reference came from. Dana White in the post-fight press conference even hinted that he is open to actors or musicians walkout fighters. However, the UFC did not allow Colby Covington to walk out with Donald Trump as he cited logistical reasons.
Unfortunately for Jack Black, Stephen Thompson lost his bout against Shavkat Rakhmonov. Rakhmonov submitted Thompson in the second round and thereby became the first person to submit Thompson. In the post-fight press conference, Colby Covington called out Thompson. However, Thompson has not responded to the callout.
Jack Black praises Nate Diaz; and predicts a future in Hollywood
Many Hollywood celebrities are big fans of the UFC. Mark Wahlberg, Chris Pratt, Adam Sandler, and Dwayne Johnson among others are very big fans of the sport. The sport now has the addition of Jack Black from Hollywood as he walked out with Stephen Thompson.
Black also linked up with Nate Diaz at UFC 296. The two met backstage after the culmination of the PPV event. After their interaction, Black spoke to Andrew Capucetti of Inside Fighting. Capucetti asked Black whether Diaz could do well in Hollywood movies. This is what he replied.

Many UFC fighters acted in Hollywood movies and Black believes that Diaz can do the same. Black believes that Diaz has the intensity to do it. However, only Diaz can find it out for himself.
