Safe to say Conor McGregor is not playing about his upcoming return to the octagon. Even casual banter won’t pass without the Notorious One coming at you on social media.

UK’s biggest heavyweight prospect, Tom Aspinall, learned this the hard way as he got called a ‘mush head rat’ by the Irishman following ‘disrespectful’ comments. McGregor is no stranger to tweeting controversial things and deleting them before it sees the light of day. However, fans were quick to screengrab the deleted tweet.

Following the comments of Aspinall on the upcoming Chandler vs McGregor, the Irishman took to Twitter to insult the rising fighter. “Bum pr**k. Say sayonara to that gk deal kid. Starve you and kill you I will you disrespectful pr**k. Don’t ever speak my name in disrespect again. Mush potato head,” wrote the Irishman.

Aspinall, explaining the amazing lineup of fights in the UFC for 2023, said, he wouldn’t mind if McGregor vs Chandler got scrapped. A furious McGregor wrote to Aspinall and called him a “Mush head rat.” However, the UK fighter hasn’t seemed to take the insults very seriously and has continued the banter.
