Dana White and the Fertitta brothers, Frank and Lorenzo, made UFC into a billion-dollar company from a million-dollar company. However, the exponential growth of the UFC is not without controversy. The UFC at present faces a class action lawsuit worth billions of dollars in compensation. One of the most vocal critics of the promotion is ex-UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt. Hunt had recently lost a lawsuit against Dana White and the UFC. It was about a case concerned with his fight against Brock Lesnar.
Hunt recently spoke with Mike Owens of Middle Easy where he spoke of the reason why he lost the case. This is what he said.
All I can say is that my former lawyers were paid off. They tried to ruin my case. They sealed all of the evidence, and, like I said, I can't keep going into it. I have to just wait till things turn out, but know that these, Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta, these criminals have done everything to try and ruin me, my brand, everything, even within court. So, I don't think the law system in America is that corrupt. They can get to a few lawyers like my former lawyer Christina Denning, the criminal piece of shit, and Brian Bosi, you're both criminals. I don't know about the judge.Mark Hunt via Middle Easy
Mark Hunt criticized the class action lawsuit as it had Brock Lesnar in it. Hunt has animosity towards Lesnar due to doping violations. Moreover, Hunt also predicted that Lesnar would be behind bars for the recent sex trafficking allegations against him.
Nonetheless, Hunt praised Francis Ngannou for the decision to leave the UFC. Moreover, he revealed that the UFC paid him close to a million for his last fight. In comparison, Ngannou’s pay was $600K even as a champion, which did not sit well with Mark Hunt. Recently, Hunt has signed with BKFC and will look to make money to continue his legal battle with the UFC.

Hunt had a solution for fighters to get paid in the UFC. However, that would require all the fighters to be united so as to counter the leverage of the promotion. Nonetheless, Hunt felt that only Conor McGregor made good money in the UFC. However, he attributed it to his success outside the octagon.
