Jake Shields is infamous for his frequent controversial tweets. The retired UFC fighter likes to speak what he feels unapologetically which normally leads to a topic of debate between his followers and fans. Recently, Shields recently talked about how Twitter is not censoring po** and it is getting easily accessible to kids.

He wrote: “I’m not a hardcore anti-po*n guy but p*rn doesn’t belong on Twitter or at the bare minimum you should need to click on the video to see it . This site has young teens so we shouldn’t accidentally stumble across a Gan*bang.”

According to Shields, kids nowadays can see any type of p*rn on Twitter without even necessarily clicking on the video as it automatically starts without any filter. However, this was not Sields’ first time questioning or raising an issue on the social media platform.

Shields is one of the MMA fighters who openly convey their socio-political ideologies on Twitter. In the past, Shields has always been against social media bans on people and a variety of content as according to the fighter banning them would set a bad precedent.

Twitter recently denied its deal with the Daily Wire to host its blockbuster documentary, What Is a Woman? over “misgendering” concerns. This created further controversy and Jake Shields took that example to prove his statement.

He wrote: “Twitter determined what is a woman to be offensive and limited its reach but considers hardcore pornography appropriate for all users.”

While Shields does have a point it is important to state that after that incident, Twitter CEO, Elon Musk personally admitted that a mistake was made by his team and there should not be any censorship around it.
