‘Dana fumbled UFC Africa’ – Fans furious with Dana White for letting Francis Ngannou leave before promotion’s visit to Africa
Fans are disappointed with Dana White for releasing Ngannou as he could've easily spearheaded the UFC Africa event as a reigning champion.

Francis Ngannou (L) Kamaru Usman (M) Israel Adesanya (R)
Fans are furious and disappointed with Dana White for letting Francis Ngannou go before UFC visited Africa. The fans could’ve seen the African Heavyweight Champion have a fight in his home, but now that he has been let go – they won’t be able to see it.
With UFC’s African superstar champions either dethroned or removed, the UFC doesn’t have the iconic trio in its roster to headline the event for UFC Africa. Fans believe Dana White had the chance to not let this happen by not stripping Ngannou of his title and coming to terms with the heavyweight champ. The rift between Ngannou and the company has completely killed the dream of fans.
Now with Ngannou completely removed from UFC and Adesanya and Usman no more being the champions, Dana White has to think of something impressive and out-of-the-box for the promotion of the event. Fans seem to be disappointed with Dana at this since it could’ve been just another Aldo or Oliveira at Brazil.
With Ngannou completely out of the picture, UFC fans can hope that Usman or Adesanya regain their belt before the event happens in Africa. Dana White has very easily “fumbled the bag” by removing Ngannou, fans wrote on Twitter.
Dana could not have fumbled UFC Africa any harder tbh https://t.co/lvRtPybFTS

Fans react to Dana White ruining it with Francis Ngannou

Fans have responded to the news of UFC Africa happening and not having Ngannou spearhead it. Having three champions from Africa rule over the three-most entertaining divisions in the UFC was an amazing sight to see for the fans. Usman and Adesanya lost their belts to Leon Edwards and Alex Pereira, respectively. Meanwhile, Ngannou is now no longer part of the promotion.
Usman and Izzy fumbled it themselves, nothing wrong with the UfC handling it. The big man however…it’s up in the air.

With none of the favorite African champions available, fans will hope Dana White pulls something out of the bag for UFC Africa. The UFC boss has Africa as one of his places to visit for UFC events. The MMA promotion has hosted events all over the world and is yet to put on a show for African MMA fans.
