“Khabib living rent free in his head” – Fans obliterate “insecure” Jon Jones following Khabib Nurmagomedov slander

Jon Jones‘s recent provocative post on Twitter to prove he is better than Khabib Nurmagomedov has backfired as fans call the former light heavyweight insecure.

Jon Jones is claimed as the GOAT by almost everyone in the sport of mixed martial arts. Despite being acclaimed by many, fans believe Jones is very insecure about his status as the greatest of all time and is in constant need of validation from time to time. One of the fighters that have the biggest fanbase, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is considered by a small part of the MMA fanbase to be the greatest to ever grace the UFC octagon.

Jones is clearly not too happy about this. The former light heavyweight champion from time to time has posted the content that has clearly been provocative and which has instigated social media “wars” between the two biggest fanbases. Jones very recently posted a tweet that had to do with Khabib Nurmagomedov. “One of my friends text me this, I just figured I would throw it up on my Twitter. Nothing else to say” wrote Jones in his tweet with a poster that compares the resume of Jones and Khabib.

In the graphic that Jones posted, it highlights that Khabib has a total of 13 UFC fights while Jones has 14 UFC title wins alone. Fans believed this was a very salty move from the former champ when there is clearly no one that has recently claimed that Khabib is better than Jones. Nurmagomedov has a record of 29-0 which is very much the perfect record by all standards. Jones on the other hand has a record of 26-1-0 in his professional career.

While some fans were in support of Jones’ statement from his latest tweet. A majority of the MMA fans were shocked that someone as huge as Jones would stoop down to a level and slander a fighter that has retired from professional fighting in 2020. After Jones’ recent tweet, fans went after the former light heavyweight’s steroid accusations.

Despite Jones being the greatest fighter in the history of the promotion, many discredit his career for being on steroids. Jon also has a very troublesome personal life and has gotten into trouble several times. Jones is always under slander for his past domestic abuse accusations.
