Chi Lewis Parry and Jon Jones’s relationship go way back as both of them absolutely hate each other. The pair have spoken ill about each other on many occasions and one time in 2019, they almost got into a physical altercation. Jones was invited to the Bodypower expo in the UK and Lewis Parry being a native went to visit the event and decided to confront the former UFC light heavyweight champion.
Parry accused Jones of taking money from the organizers to act like a good person while in reality, he is the opposite of it.
“Hey homeboy, how much are they paying you to pretend to be a nice guy?” shouted Parry at Jones.“You know you’re a dickhead, you know you’re a dickhead. Everyone here knows you’re a dickhead.”
Jones initially smiled at Parry as he was surprised to see the fighter and tried to calm him down. However, Parry was in no mood to stop and it made Jones angry. At one moment, Jones also told the security not to hold back Parry so that they both can finish the business right there.
The history of clashes between Chi Lewis Parry and Jon Jones
Chi Lewis Parry first met Jon Jones way back in 2016 when Parry visited the US to help Daniel Cormier prepare for his light heavyweight title fight with Jon Jones.
During the heated press conference, Parry and Jones got into a verbal altercation in which both the fighters didn’t hold back at all. After that incident, Parry in an interview with Submission radio confirmed what he thinks of Jones as an individual and why he hates the fighter.
“I don’t like the guy. He was very rude to me, and disrespectful to me when he didn’t need to be. He made it personal and f*** Jon,” said Parry.
In that same interview, Parry was asked to predict the outcome of the rematch between Jones and DC. The fighter who is a friend of DC revealed that he didn’t think Jones would survive more than two rounds. In reality, Jones won the fight via TKO but the fight was overturned after Jones got tested positive for turinabol. A fight potential fight between Parry and Jones is something that will definitely excite the fans even now however, it seems very hard to make that fight.
