“Having it mute for the main card” – Fans troll Daniel Cormier for being part of commentary team at UFC 280: Oliveira vs Makhachev

Fans are absolutely furious that UFC legend Daniel Cormier will officially be a part of the UFC 280 commentary team. The commentator has previously been slapped with accusations of being biased toward his teammates and the fans aren’t going easy on him.
UFC 280 will undoubtedly be the biggest pay-per-view event so far in 2022. The event will be headlined by the much-anticipated lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachaev and Charles Oliveira. A huge part of successful UFC events has been the commentary team calling the fights.
Daniel Cormier might be everyone’s choice for any other pay-per-view event but definitely not this weekend. The former two-division champion has been accused of being biased toward his teammates from the American Kickboxing Academy. Islam Makhachev, who is the main team member of that gym will be favored by DC with biased commentary against Oliveira, believe the fans.
Recently a report from MMA Junkie stated that Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier, and Paul Felder will be part of the UFC 280 commentary team. DC has been a core part of the commentary team but fans badly call for a replacement with the legend. Joe Rogan, who is another star that the fans look forward to hearing won’t be there for this PPV event.
DC has always been trolled for being biased towards Luke Rockhold, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and other AKA gym members. Cormier has also denied he shows any type of bias. The trolling got so bad even UFC middleweight Darren Till called the former double champ out.
