The main card opener for UFC Sao Paulo delivered. Elves Brenner sent the fans ablaze with a one-punch KO over the very game Kaynan Kruschewsky, who made his UFC debut. The brutal blow delivered by Brenner faceplanted Kruschewsky on the canvas. The bout began with Kruschewsky taking the center of the octagon with Brenner circling with jabs and leg kicks. It looked like Brenner was looking to avoid the hard punches of the opponent.

However, that was not the case, as Brenner KOed Kaynan Kruschewsky with a makeshift one-two in the final minute of the first round. Brenner threw a straight right hand from the orthodox position and put his rear leg forward to throw a straight left hand from the Southpaw position immediately. The second punch landed near the ear, and it was lights out for Kruschewsky.

Brenner could likely bag a performance of the night Bonus. However, the undefeated Vitor Petrino delivered a one-punch left-hook KO on Modestas Bukauskas in the prelims of the fight night. Brenner would face stiff competition, with Nicolas Dalby finishing his opponent.

Elves Brenner is now 3-0 in the UFC and was coming off a third-round TKO over the “Georgian Viking,” Guram Kutateladze. With a 3-0 record in the UFC’s highly competitive lightweight division with two finishes, Brenner has set himself up for a ranked contender.
