Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub might not have had the best career as a mixed martial arts fighter but he surely has hit home with his career in comedy.
The former Ultimate Fighter finalist has become one of the popular comedians in the USA. While Brendan Schaub might not be the best comedian out there, he sure has found his niche in the entertainment industry and has been doing well in the podcast business.
In one of Schaub’s podcasts, “The Fighter and The Kid”, hosted alongside his comedian friend, Bryan Callen, the two recorded one of the greatest moments in comedy podcast history with special guest, Bobby Lee.
In the podcast episode, the fighter and his friend are seen struggling to try to listen to Lee’s story of how he got molested as a child. Brendan and Bryan cannot help but let out their laughter as Bobby Lee narrates his traumatic childhood experience in the funniest way possible.
“When I was 9 I was molested by a guy with down syndrome,” says Bobby Lee. Schaub and Callen break out a peal of laughter as Lee looks visibly disappointed. The entire segment in the podcast revolves around Brendan and Bryan trying to let laugh at Lee’s traumatic story.
How good was Brendan Schaub in the UFC?
Schaub started his career as a fighter in boxing. The Colorado native then went on to train jiu-jitsu and MMA with former UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin. After training with the UFC fighter, Schaub found his way into the UFC Ultimate Fighter in 2009. He fought for team Rashad Evans.

The fighter managed to work his way all the way to the Ultimate Fighter finals where he made his official debut against Roy Nelson but ended up losing the bout via KO. After his loss, however, Schaub went on an impressive four-fight winning streak beating the likes of Chase Gormley, Gabrial Gonzaga, and also Cro Cop.
Schaub later went on to lose 4 of his 6 fights which eventually ended his career in fighting. Brendan Schaub then shifted to comedy and also is a regular to break down UFC fights and other fighting events. Recently his beef against Dana White went viral.
