“I want no business with this man” – Francis Ngannou is afraid of a new contender in the Heavyweight division, Mohammed Usman
Francis Ngannou and Mohammed Usman
After UFC Vegas 59, there’s a new contender in the UFC’s Heavyweight division, Mohammed Usman. The Motor is UFC’s Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s younger brother. He has previously competed in PFL and Titan FC. The Motor wanted to fight for the UFC, before signing with the PFL. However, a lucrative offer presented by the PFL made him reconsider fighting in the UFC at that moment.
The Motor defeated Zac Pauga in the finale of The Ultimate Fighter season 30 at UFC Vegas 59 to win the UFC contract. He defeated Pauga by Knockout in 2 round at 0:36. With the victory his MMA record now stands at 8-2. He suffered defeat in his last outing at the hands of Brandon Sayles at PFL: 3 2021 in May 2021.
With a statement win over Pauga earlier today, The Motor has alerted the Heavyweights of his arrival. Heading into the fight, he was the betting underdog. However, this didn’t seem the slightest of his concern. With the win, The Motor was awarded a UFC contract as well as the TUF winner trophy.

Francis Ngannou and Mohammed Usman have sparred before
Reacting to The Motor’s win, the UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou took to Twitter to congratulate him. The Predator welcomed the new addition to the Heavyweight division. The champion has very good relations with The Motor’s brother Kamaru Usman. The Predator has even had Kamaru in his corner during his last two fights.
The Motor also has a relationship with the champion. In an interview back in 2020, he revealed that Ngannou invited him over for a sparring session. Back then the Motor had only two fights in MMA and was a long way from the UFC octagon.
Following Usman’s win at UFC Vegas 59, The Predator took to Twitter to congratulate Usman for the victory and UFC contract. He also jokingly added that he wants no business inside the cage with Usman. Ngannou wrote, ” A new contender was born in the heavyweight division and personally I want no business with this man congrats brother @Umohammed97.”
