Henry Cejudo, Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz
Henry Cejudo has a rather critical remark about Marlon Vera’s winning performance against Dominick Cruz. Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz headlined UFC San Diego last week and gave fans an absolute banger. Cruz who is 37 years old was looking forward to this fight however, it didn’t go the way he wanted. Although Cruz gave a solid performance and showed great skills in the initial rounds it wasn’t enough.
Vera, who had a slow start, was rather cautious and in the fourth round landed a brutal kick that dropped Cruz on the mat. In the post-fight interview, Vera showed his respect for Cruz and mentioned that he is going to be the champion.
“Hey, San Diego. All the respect to your boy [Cruz]. I’m a professional. Thank you everybody for showing up. I’m f—ing packing out arenas today, huh?” Vera said during his post-fight interview. ‘I’m going to keep kicking ass. Ecuador, I’m going to be a world champion.” Added Vera.

Cejudo mentioned that he was not impressed by Vera’s fight as the fighter failed to finish Cruz on many occasions in the early rounds. He wrote :
“Dominic was easily winning that fight(4-0) he leans the head too heavy and it’s the same way I knocked him out too. Chito won but I’m not impressed by his performance. Going back too much and getting point fought the whole fight. Chito could have finished him a couple times and didn’t.”
