UFC star Conor McGregor does not appreciate the criticisms Henry Cejudo has shared on social media about his style over the years. Cejudo is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling and during his hiatus, has analyzed and mocked some of Conor McGregor’s as part of his ‘coaching’. He just made his return after nearly three years of being away from the octagon to face Aljamain Sterling at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey at UFC 288.

A reporter brought up the topic during Cejudo’s post-fight press conference. He told Cejudo what Conor had said and Cejudo seemed amused by it. “Conor McGregor don’t got s*** on my résumé, that’s all I gotta say,” he said. “What I was able to do, and compete, and hearing the boos from the crowd when they announced the winner, that says a lot to me…it’s okay, man, bring the hate, maybe it’ll motivate me…thank you, Conor.”

Conor McGregor was active on social media during the much-hyped match this weekend. He streamed the UFC 288 and commented on the co-main and main events. McGregor got ecstatic when Aljamain Sterling defeated Henry Cejudo. He congratulated Aljo for securing the win and revealed that he had bet money on the fighter. “Easiest money I’ve ever made. Not a scratch on Aljo! Congrats Funkmaster!” he said. The Notorious then went on to criticize Cejudo for his performance in the fight.

Good little fighter is Henry, but give it a rest with these agendas all the time. The guy is sub 20 fights in his career. His little feints an all ahaha omg, please teach me mastermind lol. Done the splits like a stripper and got dumped on his a** he did hahaha,“ he wrote. McGregor also made a video ridiculing Cejudo’s moves in the octagon, which he later deleted.

McGregor himself is returning to the ring later this year. He is reportedly set to fight Michael Chandler with whom he had recently shot ESPN’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31’. McGregor has been out of the octagon since UFC 264 when he injured his leg fighting Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight. But McGregor has been active on social media and has been involved in a bunch of other ventures, including his own Netflix documentary and his debut movie starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
