Ian Garry is ready to take on Colby Covington after their intense back and forth in recent times. Garry recently recently sat down for an interview with MMA Fighting. There he talked about his potential fight with Covington and how he plans to retire the top welterweight contender.

Ian Garry and Colby Covington have had a dirty social media feud. The prospect of a potential matchup has all of the MMA community invested in their rivalry. Garry said in his interview that he would retire Covington for all of Brazil.

You don't deserve to be here,... I'm gonna retire you and all of Brazil is gonna have a smile on their face when I knock you unconscious and leave you in a puddle of your own blood face down on the canvas. Colby, you're done.

This special attention to Brazil was because of the controversial things Covington said about the country a few years back. Garry said that he is ready to take Covington on wherever he wishes to fight. Garry called out Covington to be a man and step into the octagon to face him.

He told Hobbs to ask Covington about their potential bout because he is the one pursuing the fight. Meanwhile, Covington is the one ducking him. ‘Chaos’ supposedly is serious about the three conditions he put down in his previous callout video.

As for a message to Covington, Garry urged the welterweight contender to say yes to their fight. Garry is sure that he will eventually fight Covington. Their intense back and forth on social media is creating hype among fans around the matchup which means fans may get to see a fight date soon.
