A similar example of it was seen when Conor McGregor posted a tweet in 2013. ‘The Notorious,’ who was riding on a two-fight win streak back then, wrote about what he wished to achieve in his life. McGregor wrote, “I just want two gold belts, a jiu-jitsu black belt, a hall of fame plaque, and 25 million in the bank. Is that too much to ask? Gym time!!”

Conor McGregor’s tweet came to fruition as he achieved most things apart from receiving a hall of fame plaque, and becoming a black belt in jiu-jitsu. At UFC 205, the Irishman beat Eddie Alvarez to become a two-division UFC champion. When it comes to money, McGregor was reported to be the richest athlete in the world by Forbes in 2021.

To sum it up, ‘Mystic Mac’ proved the power of believing in oneself. His accolades and honors in the cage and outside it are a byproduct of the championship mentality that Conor McGregor possesses. While he has displayed the same to achieve success, McGregor once displayed a solid mindset while dealing with adversity.
