Israel Adesanya was annoyed at the UFC 281: Live Weigh-In show as he talks to Laura Sanko, Daniel Cormier, Chris Weidman, and Dan Hellie.
The UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya successfully made weight ahead of his huge super fight against his former rival Alex Pereira at UFC 281. After attending the official weigh-ins, the champ was gracious enough to make an appearance on the UFC Live Weigh-In show only to get intentionally or unintentionally get trolled by the broadcasters.
After making weight, Adesanya dropped by to talk to Daniel Cormier, Laura Sanko, Chris Weidman, and Dan Hellie. The champ was previewing his fight against an opponent who has two wins over him in kickboxing. Adesanya has been claiming that today’s internet makes his losses against Pereira to be way worse than it actually is.
As he explains how he fought against Alex Pereira at Glory Kickboxing, ESPN plays highlights of his fight but only for Adesanya to realize as he’s explaining that the video only comprised Pereira’s success against Izzy. Adesanya has been determined to prove his doubters wrong in the upcoming fight and settle his rivalry against Pereira at the Madison Square Garden.

Watching this moment, the champion, pissed, said, “Y’all ain’t slick on that one. ESPN fu*k you for that,” throwing up the bird to the camera. Cormier apologized for the video and Adesanya responded, “That’s fugazi. This is the TikTok era. People will watch that and believe that sh*t.”
