“Stomp his head” – Israel Adesanya reacts to Alex Pereira’s son mocking him after BRUTAL knockout loss at Glory Kickboxing

It is one thing to get knocked out by your biggest rival but to have his son enter the ring and mock your loss is brutal at the least. Israel Adesanya went through this experience when he got knocked out against Alex Pereira at GLORY Kickboxing.
Alex Pereira has the bragging rights for being the only fighter to have knocked out the current UFC champion Israel Adesanya. The Brazilian’s devastating left hook put the New Zealander to sleep in a kickboxing fight. Following the knockout, Pereira’s son rushed into the ring and mocked Izzy for his knockout, and pretended to be knocked out in front of the defeated fighter. In a recent episode of MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the fighter reacts to that taunting moment.
Ariel Helwani was more upset than Adesanya about that moment during the interview. “I remember but I kinda looked at him and laughed. He did it multiple times and I looked at him and laughed,” said Israel Adesanya who seems to have not taken that disrespect to his heart. “What am I gonna do, stomp his head?” joked Adesanya.
“I mean I would have,” said Ariel Helwani as the two broke out in laughter. Adesanya was quick to emphasize that it was Helwani who actually said it and not him. Izzy won’t bother if Pereira’s son is at the upcoming fight at UFC 281 which will take place at the Madison Square Garden.

Alex Pereira’s son mocks Israel Adesanya once again in recent video
You would’ve thought Alex Pereira’s son isn’t the same as he was back in 2017 but nothing’s changed. Alessandro Vidal Silva, who jumped into the ring to mock Adesanya once again brought his trash-talking ahead of the UFC 281 fight. The UFC Embedded Vlog Series features Pereira’s two sons in episode 2.
Pereira’s son, Lohan Vidal says, “We are going to watch him beat another guy.” Alessandro chimes in by saying, “Not one more guy. The same guy for the third time,” taking a dig at his father’s 2-0 record against Adesanya. Pereira might seem to be quiet but his sons do the trash-talking for him.
Alex is heading into this title fight with just three fights in the UFC promotion while Adesanya will look to avenge his previous losses to Periera and make his 6th title defense as the UFC middleweight champion at UFC 281 this weekend. Are you excited about this middleweight title bout?
