As Israel Adesanya prepares for the biggest rematch of his life against Alex Pereira, he should realize that he may have never faced as much scrutiny to every single comment of his as he will in the upcoming months. However, with just 32 days left for the epic clash, it has already started.
Adesanya has never been able to come out victorious against Alex Pereira in their two prior meet-ups in kickboxing. In fact, in their second meet, Adesanya was knocked out cold by Pereira, being the only person to do so in any form of combat sports. It’s no wonder the Frozen Like Elsa line was mocked so furiously by fans as Adesanya was the one arguably left frozen the last time they fought.
Now in his latest tweet, Adesanya posted a few pictures of him, looking slightly bulkier with the caption, ” Forgive them father- God Forgives I don’t, ” Along with three emojis of a church, a mosque, and a synagogue respectively. In the immortal words of Heath Ledger, – “Very Poor Choice of words”

Now “fathered” or ” son’d ” Is a common expression used in sports when one side utterly trashes another. While not one-sided domination, Pereira ended the second fight with a KO and that’s as close to a trashing you can get at the end of the day in MMA, apart from literally being battered all night long.
Fans who were already furious at Adesanya for his last few title defenses immediately jumped on to taunt and mock the middleweight champion, with a lot of references to Pereira being his father. Here are the fan reactions to Adesanya’s tweet.
