Jairzinho Rozenstruik has made waves ever since he transitioned from KickBooxing to MMA in 2017. He was picked by the UFC in just his 7th professional fight and delivered on the big stage, debuting with a Head-kick finish at UFC Fight Night: Assuncao vs Moraes 2. Since then Suriname’s favorite fighter has been on a rampage gaining 6 finish victories in the UFC.
Rozenstruik was pretty notable by virtue of his kickboxing career alone where he had a total of 76 wins , with 64 of them being KO’s while only suffering 8 losses. In the UFC “Bigi Boy” has managed to become a legend slayer due to his victories over veterans of the sport like Andrei Arlovski, Junior Dos Santos, and Alistair Overeem.
His win over Alistair was particularly noted for its brutality and timing. The bought was a rather dull affair with both heavyweights respecting each other’s power and kickboxing prowess but Rozenstruik managed to end it with a high light reel for the ages. With mere seconds to go in the fifth and final round, Jairzinho Rozenstruik landed a straight left followed by a swinging right hook that knocked out Overeem while severely cutting open his lip.
Rozenstruik faced the first bump on his undefeated run in MMA when he went up against current Champion Francis Ngganou in their fight at UFC 249. The bout was very short, 20 seconds to be precise and Rozenstruik ended up on the wrong end of an early blitz why Ngannou, since then he has suffered 2 more losses via a decision to Cyril Gane and Curtis Blaydes.
He will look to jump back into the win column next weekend as he faces off against Alexander Volkov in his 4th UFC main event at UFC Vegas 56.

Rozenstruik seems to be the type of person that would rather not burden his family with the bae of unwanted media attention and to this regard not much is known about his personal life. He doesn’t publicize much on his Instagram or youtube channel either as most posts feature him traiing or meeting his Surinamese fans in his home country.
In a prior interview, he has revealed that he has two children, the names of whom are unknown. He has however posted a picture of him with his mother with the caption, “Happy Birthday My Queen”
