The middleweight champion is eager to take on Jared Cannonier, a destructive knockout artist, as his newest opponent. The veteran from Alaska, who competed in the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions before settling down at 185 pounds, gets his first shot at gold at age 37. Adesanya, on the other hand, continues to dominate at middleweight, having suffered his lone loss while attempting to win a second title at 205 pounds.

With the return of the UFC’s biggest event of the year, all eyes in the combat industry are on Las Vegas this week. UFC 276 is scheduled to take place inside the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night, capping out International Fight Week with a fight card that is packed to the gills.

During the weigh-in ceremony, after the main-event fighters starred down, Joe Rogan asked Jared to explain his sentiments just the day before the “Final challenge”, to which Jared stated, “It’s not the final challenge,It is just the next challenge. I’m the final challenge. I’m ready to show up, I am ready to blow up, I am ready to throw up my fist to victory and take my belt home. It’s going down

Cannonier said that Israel and his team continued making references to the fact that he had previously competed at heavyweight in the run-up to the fight. The 38-year-old claimed that Israel Adesanya’s past as a heavyweight won’t have a negative impact on his performance in their impending middleweight contest
