“Well, that sucked. Just got back from the hospital. I am probably gonna need surgery. She did a good job of continuing to armbar me after I tapped. But that’s fine, it is what is. I felt great, but I still cried the entire time I was in the hospital. But I feel alright, you know. I am understandably heartbroken,” said Jessica in her recent Instagram video.

In the caption, she wrote, “Every piece of this UFC 276 experience was everything I ever dreamed of, except for the result. I’m going to be out for a while, letting this elbow heal. I’m not done. Not even close. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love.”

Jessica is now on a two-fight losing skid after her defeat at UFC 276. The fighter has a professional record of 11-8 in her career. She has been fighting in the UFC since 2017.
