Julija submitted her opponent in the first round in under a minute via a brutal arm bar. Jessica Rose Clark is waiting on surgery after her submission defeat
“Well, that sucked. Just got back from the hospital. I am probably gonna need surgery. She did a good job of continuing to armbar me after I tapped. But that’s fine, it is what is. I felt great, but I still cried the entire time I was in the hospital. But I feel alright, you know. I am understandably heartbroken,” said Jessica in her recent Instagram video.
In the caption, she wrote, “Every piece of this UFC 276 experience was everything I ever dreamed of, except for the result. I’m going to be out for a while, letting this elbow heal. I’m not done. Not even close. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love.”
Jessica is now on a two-fight losing skid after her defeat at UFC 276. The fighter has a professional record of 11-8 in her career. She has been fighting in the UFC since 2017. The Australian still has hopes of coming back to fight and has confirmed that she won’t retire. What did you think of Jessica’s recent performances?
