Jessica Rose Clark recently suffered a tragic loss to Julija Stoliarenko at UFC 276 after being submitted in the first round by a nasty arm bar.
Jessica Rose Clark and Julija Stoliarenko squared off in one of the year’s most important pay-per-view events, UFC 276. Clark was on a two-bout winning streak before her latest fight. Stoliarenko, on the other hand, was battling for her job after losing three consecutive battles.
The bantamweight fighter alleged after the fight that her opponent went too far with her submission. Jessica went to the hospital right after fearing an injury. After being taken to the hospital, she told her opponent that she persevered with her armbar despite sensing a tap.
She even tells her fans that due to this she would have to undergo surgery and was extremely heartbroken over the whole ordeal. Jessica, says in an Instagram video, “Well, that sucked. Just got back from the hospital. I am probably gonna need surgery. She did a good job of continuing to armbar me after I tapped. But that’s fine, it is what is. I felt great, but I still cried the entire time I was in the hospital. But I feel alright, you know. I am understandably heartbroken.”

Jessica Rose Clark believes she had a valid cause for tapping out
Jessica Rose Clark recently wrote on Instagram about her comeback to training despite her injuries after her fight at UFC 276. She even mocked her fortune for not catching a break. Referencing her previously sustained injuries, she tweeted, “I’ve caught many breaks over the last few years. Broke my foot. Broke my knee. Broke my elbow. Lol.”
In response to her message, one admirer, although expressing sorrow, seemed to have a problem with her battle. He believes she tapped out too soon, causing him to lose money. He tweets, “Also broke my heart when u tapped out and cost me 12k.. but it’s cool doe. I ain’t complaining, my own fault. I just wish u would’ve tried to actually get out of the arm bar and not tap so quickly but maybe u couldn’t.I saw a video of Jon Jones refusing to tap in a armbar today.”
A broken arm is clearly a genuine reason for tapping out early. But what do you think? Let us know in the comment section.
