At this point, Jim Miller is breaking his own records every time he fights inside the octagon. Miller has the record for the highest number of fights in UFC, with 42 appearances inside the Octagon. He also holds the record for most wins inside the UFC, with 25 wins under his belt. Despite all the accolades, former two-division champion Daniel Cormier does not believe Miller deserves a spot in the UFC Hall of Fame.

After scoring a 23-second knockout win against Jesse Butler, Miller made it to the top of the win board with 25 total wins. A record that was previously held by Miller himself. Despite the achievements Daniel Cormier believes, that Miller needs to do more to be inducted as a Hall of Famer. During his YouTube segment DC& RC, Daniel further elaborated on his statement.

“I don’t feel like time served immediately puts you in the Hall of Fame. Look, he’s got more wins than anyone else. But, I love Jim Miller and that makes it hard for me. I just don’t feel like time served puts you in the Hall of Fame,” said Daniel Cormier. Cormier. who is already a UFC Hall of Famer. might have more knowledge of what is required by fighters to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

However, Donald Cowboy Cerrone has also had a similar path to Miller and will soon be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Like A-10, Cowboy has not ever held a title and fought for over a decade in UFC. Jim Miller even retired Cowboy after their scrap at UFC 276. So Miller might have a shot of becoming a Hall of Famer after his retirement.

Veteran MMA fighter Jim Miller is still going strong after 42 fights inside the octagon. His first-round win against Jesse Butler at UFC Vegas 74 marked Miller’s 25th win, which is the highest in the UFC. Miller was previously tied for the wins with soon-to-be Hall of Famer Donald Cerrone. However, after defeating him at UFC 276, Miller remained the only fighter with the most wins in UFC.

At this point, the 39-year-old is the only active fighter to have fought at UFC 100 and UFC 200. With only a few PPV events remaining, Miller has made up his mind to fight at UFC 300 as well. During his post-fight interview, Miller expressed his desire to compete at another of UFC’s landmark events. “We’ll see. You know, I put the goal out there to get to 300. But I want to end my career like I started my career, and that’s fighting as often as I can,” said Miller.

Miller has also stated that he would like to have his 45th fight at UFC 300 and possibly declare his retirement after that. While the exact date of UFC 300 had not been declared, it is expected to take place in April or May next year. So, Miller still has two more fights to go before achieving the perfect setup for his retirement.
