Shane Gillis was a recent guest on the Joe Rogan Experience. During the episode, Gillis and Joe Rogan delved into the case of Tony Ferguson. Ferguson, on a six-fight losing streak, will face Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296. Of the six losses, the loss against Michael Chandler was the most devastating one.

During the podcast, Rogan described the knockout of Ferguson by Chandler. Interestingly, he described the picture of Chandler connecting the knockout kick on Ferguson’s jaw. This is what he said.

Look at Chandler's f*cking quads. Imagine how much power is in that. Good Lord, good Lord! Look at his body; he's just a ball of tense muscle, just exploding on your face....... That sounded a lot more gay than I was trying to make it sound.

Gillis used his comedic sense to find a gay undertone in Rogan’s description of Michael Chandler’s physique. Nevertheless, Chandler is an athletic specimen. He does a lot of explosive exercises, which he regularly posts on his social media. It is one of the reasons why Chandler is one of the most explosive and powerful fighters on the UFC roster.

Chandler has not fought since UFC 281. At UFC 281, Dustin Poirier submitted Chandler with a rear naked choke in the third round. Chandler went on to coach against Conor McGregor at TUF 31. There is no official confirmation from the UFC, but his upcoming opponent is likely Conor McGregor at UFC 300.

Joe Rogan’s comedian friend calls the English accent gay, except for the Liverpool accent

Gillis said this about the English Accent to Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience.

English accent's gay...Not all of them, the Liverpool's great accent... Paddy the Baddy's great...He's a fun guy.

Interestingly, the Liverpool accent was made popular in the UFC by Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett. Gillis and Rogan find Pimblett to be a fun guy. Pimblett will face Tony Ferguson at UFC 296. As of now, it is the biggest fight of Pimblett’s UFC career. Even though Ferguson is on a long losing streak, he is still a big name and fan favorite. However, Pimblett is the betting favorite for the fight.
