The UFC and Pride FC enjoyed a cordial relationship, and they even traded fighters. However, Pride FC’s success was later met with a downfall, and the promotion ended up being purchased by the UFC.
Many fans and pundits around the world labeled this deal beneficial for the UFC. However, during an episode of his podcast, veteran UFC color commentator Joe Rogan spoke about why the UFC purchasing Pride did not work well for the former.
