“I guarantee will help you,” Joe Rogan suggests Carnivores diet to Kevin James to lose weight

Noted comedian and Hollywood actor Kevin James was one of the recent guests on Joe Rogan Experience. Like Rogan, James also has expertise in martial arts, as he and Rogan started training together at BJJ. However, he is still a Blue Belt, whereas Rogan achieved the status of a Black Belt.

On the podcast, James remarked that he stayed in shape under the guidance of a dietician. However, he consumed a lot of junk food if he ate whatever he liked. Rogan had tried and practiced different types of diets and thus had a solution for James to lose weight. This is what he said.

One thing that you can try, that I guarantee will help you lose weight, is the carnivore diet. Because if you do it, the one thing that you're going to not eat is any carbohydrates. You're only going to eat meat, and if you cut out all bread, all pasta, all sugar...I'm not saying this is the best diet...this one works the best for me, it keeps me lean.

Rogan explained that if one consumed meat only, their body would only have fats and proteins. Therefore, the body processes proteins to generate energy instead of carbohydrates. The body would go to a Ketogenic state that would enable clear thinking and extra energy.

Rogan also stated that he was not against Carbohydrates. He stated that it was a good fuel for the body. However, he stated that it was easy for people to overeat food rich in Carbohydrates. That is not the case in a meat-only diet where there is little to no chance of overeating.

Joe Rogan guests starred in Kevin James’ movie

Kevin James starred in the MMA-themed sports comedy movie Here Comes the Boom. In the movie, James portrayed the role of a high school teacher who intentionally loses fights to get money. However, he later discovered that he would make more money if he won.

Joe Rogan appeared as himself in the movie. UFC legend Bas Rutten also starred in the movie. Rogan’s scene is when James’ character and Rutten’s character meet up to discuss a potential fight in the movie. Rogan negotiated on behalf of the UFC in the movie.

The film was Rogan’s final role in a theatrically released film. He appeared in the movie Bright as himself. However, the movie had an OTT release on Netflix. Before Here Comes the Boom, Rogan had a role in another Kevin James movie, Zookeeper.
