Jon Jones is arguably one of the biggest superstars in the history of the UFC. The fighter has an impeccable resume and has fought killers since a young age. At light heavyweight, Jones has proven himself to be an unstoppable force. The fighter has defended the title on ten multiple occasions and has ruled the division for years. Everything was so easy and monotonous for him that Jones finally decided to move up for a new challenge. Now that he’s ready to make his heavyweight debut, Jones has mentioned that things are different now.
According to the fighter, he is experiencing the thrill and fear of not being in a comfort zone. Jones revealed that he’s having trouble sleeping at night but it’s a good thing as it keeps him more focused. In a recent interview with MMA Underground, Jones said: “MMA feels fun to me again. Obviously, with being out for three years and a new division, there’s a lot of questions that cause me to stay up long nights, but it keeps me sharp…This feels very different. The nerves, anxiety, it’s all back…I’m under pressure.”
Jones is a superstar and nobody has ever dominated him inside the octagon, this puts him in a spot where the expectations are high. The fans are extremely excited about his return and are sure that Jones will dominate the heavyweight division as he did in light heavyweight.

Chael Sonnen weighs in at the upcoming heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane
Jon Jones‘ heavyweight debut has been in the conversation for a long time now and finally, after multiple changes in his potential opponents, Jones will be fighting Ciryl Gane.
A few days ago, UFC released Francis Ngannou from the roster and this paved the way for the vacant heavyweight title fight between Jones and Gane. It was an extremely surprising announcement from the UFC as nobody expected this fight to happen. According to many fans, fighters such as Stipe Miocic and Curtis Blaydes were more eligible for the opportunity.
UFC legend Chael Sonnen had a similar opinion after he learned about the fight taking place. “I mean, one fight that you guys have never called for, one fight that was not being sought after and asked for,” said Sonnen in one of his YouTube videos.
Jones vs Gane will take place at UFC 285 on March 5 inside the T-Mobile Arena and fight fans are super excited about it. Many think that this is going to be the best technical Heavyweight match of all time.
