Jon Jones believes he can be heavyweight champion

Fight fans have been waiting for a long time for the much anticipated heavyweight debut of Jon Jones. Two years ago Jones gave hints about him trying his luck in the heavyweight division. It was pretty shocking as well exciting for the die hard fans of Jones who wanted him to do well in this new venture.

Initially it was expected that Jones would fight Francis Ngannou for the heavyweight championship this year. Unfortunately, Ngannou announced that he had a knee injury after his fight at UFC 270. This forced the French-Cameroonian to take leave from MMA in order to recover. Jones then shifted his focus towards Stipe Miocic who is another legend of the heavyweight division.
