Fans weren’t fully ready to see Jon Jones as a heavyweight fighter. The latest photoshoot of the former 205-pounder has shocked fans.

With UFC 285 just around the corner, fans are more excited than ever to witness the fantastic comeback of the former UFC light heavyweight champion. Jon Jones has been bulking to become a heavyweight for the last three years. However, fans aren’t too impressed with the fighter’s physique.

At light heavyweight, Jones was in his best shape. The former champ often rocked the shredded physique. Judging by fans’ reactions, they seemed to have expected a more muscular version of Jones in the heavyweight division. Several reactions poured in on Twitter and other social media platforms reacting to the fighter’s shape.

If there’s one thing that mixed martial arts has taught the world is that appearance surely does not matter in fighting. Especially in the heavyweight division. Despite the hype around his return, several fans have taken turns joking about the fighter’s appearance.

Jones recently did his photoshoot for UFC as a heavyweight fighter. The former champ was seen wearing black trunks. Several fans have also pointed out how the fighter’s legs have not shown much development compared to his upper body.

Jones has also been clowned for his muscular development in the legs. The “weak calves” jokes seem to have followed him in his career as a heavyweight. Check out some of the reactions from fans.

Jon Jones will fight Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 main event. The undisputed heavyweight belt will be on the line. Jones is returning from a three-year hiatus. His last bout was in 2020 against Dominick Reyes for the light heavyweight title.
