Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are arguably two of the best ever to step foot on the octagon. While Jones is the youngest and one of the longest-reigning champions, McGregor was the first simultaneous double champion. Recently, Conor McGregor faced a lot of hatred and trolls on social media concerning a particular video. As such, ‘Bones’ commented in support of ‘The Notorious.’
In a viral video, Conor McGregor enjoyed his family time on his luxurious yacht. As such, he was coaching someone a few techniques about punching while seated on his yacht. While many netizens trolled McGregor, Jon Jones jumped in to comment:

The trolls emerged due to the inactivity of Conor McGregor. Having been on the sidelines for nearly three years, ‘The Notorious’ almost returned last year. But, for various reasons, the Irishman’s comeback kept postponing. However, even after staying out for years, his passion for mixed martial arts hasn’t left him. It was evident in the video. As such, Jon Jones recognized it and appreciated it.
Jon Jones could relate to Conor McGregor as he also returned from a long hiatus last year. As such, only a passionate individual can do it. On that note, he has expressed excitement over the return of ‘The Notorious.’ Unofficially, McGregor announced fighting Michael Chandler during International Fight Week. Although it hyped the fans, UFC CEO Dana White discarded the announcement. Furthermore, the UFC has made no official announcement about McGregor’s return.

Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are the only ones to get a special announcement from Bruce Buffer
Conor McGregor and Jon Jones were two special individuals who’ve had a humongous impact on the sport of MMA in their own right. They deserved special credit and attention for their work. As such, Bruce Buffer, the voice of the UFC, made sure to etch a deep memory into the fight fans by giving a special announcement for ‘The Notorious’ and ‘Bones.’
When Conor McGregor returned after a long break to fight Donald Cerrone, Bruce Buffer announced him as ‘the one and only – Conor McGregor.’ Likewise was the case when Jon Jones made his return to face Ciryl Gane last year. As such, these two legends were the only ones who got special treatment from Buffer. To this day, these are considered as one of the best fighter announcements in UFC history.
Both Conor McGregor and Jon Jones won their comeback fights. However, the two MMA stars have had their share of adversities since then. McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier twice and injured his leg, and Jones suffered a pectoral injury in his training camp last year. As such, both ‘The Notorious’ and ‘Bones’ spent their time on the sidelines now. Fans expect them to return later this year.
