Former rivals Kelvin Gastelum and Darren Till recently had a funny exchange on X that caught the attention of fans online. The two previously fought in 2019, and Darren Till recently left the UFC. Gastelum’s recent comments sparked hilarious reactions from UFC fans.

Darren Till sent out a post on X, wishing everybody except some of the key and prominent figures in the UFC and the world of MMA. This was obviously a silly joke that the 30-year-old MMA fighter cracked on social media. He wrote, “Happy Monday to everyone except…” and went ahead and tagged fifteen prominent figures in the world of mixed martial arts.

The people who were tagged by Darren on his post included fighters like Mike Perry, Dillon Danis, Dricus Du Plessis, Jorge Masvidal, Robert Whittaker, Donald Cerrone, Tyron Woodley, and definitely Kelvin Gastelum. As a result, Gastelum responded to Till’s post in the comments. He wrote, “Nice D.” This had fans hilariously reacting to the friendly exchange on social media.

Kelvin Gastelum and Darren Till headlined the middleweight co-main event at UFC 244. This was back in November of 2019. The fight went the full distance and Darren Till ultimately walked out as the final victor. Earlier this year, Darren Till was released from the UFC roster. In an interview with ESPN, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that one of the key reasons for Till’s departure was his ongoing knee issues.
