Khabib Nurmagomedov remained undefeated in his career because he was resilient and stronger than most fighters in the UFC. He was rag-rolling opponents to victory on his quest for UFC gold, and in his title defenses, he finished three former Champions in a row to retire from MMA. The fact remains hidden how powerful Khabib was, but this rare footage of Khabib taking on a heavyweight will convince you of his immense strength.

In the footage, Khabib has a significant size disadvantage but can still stuff takedown attempts from his larger opponent. However, after some point, Khabib found himself on his back and may have possibly lost the bout, but he still neutralized the big man for a lengthy period.

Khabib is among the rarest fighters who never lost a fight as an MMA fighter. After his retirement, he started to coach his fellow Dagestani Fighters and was instrumental in Islam Makachev winning the UFC Lightweight Championship. However, he has decided to step away from coaching to spend more time with his family.

Islam Makachev and other Dagestani fighters will miss the presence of Khabib in their corner. But if you are a great fighter, you can win on the merits of your abilities than on the value of corner advice.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is taking time away from coaching to focus on his family. He was instrumental as a coach, helping Dagestani fighters to victory on multiple occasions. Last year, under his guidance, Islam Makachev won the UFC Lightweight Championship. Khabib’s friend Henry Cejudo understands this decision better than anyone else.

Cejudo understands that training camps and cornering his fighters take much time away from family. Cejudo, a father to a little girl, now understands the need to be with her, and that is also why he is not surprised about Khabib retiring from coaching. Cejudo said that in a video on his YouTube Channel.

Cejudo, who last fought Dominic Cruz back in 2020 at UFC 249, will return after a hiatus of three years. Cejudo is the only athlete to win an Olympic Gold medal and two division titles in the UFC. He will look to dethrone Aljamain Sterling and once again reign supreme over the Bantamweights.
