The UFC rising star Khamzat Chimaev is scheduled to fight Megastar Nate Diaz this weekend at UFC 279. During the post-fight interview with ESPN Chimaev gave his thoughts on the recent title loss of Kamaru Usman.
Borz who completes in UFC’s Welterweight as well as Middleweight divisions is taking on Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 279. He is undefeated in his MMA carrier and is coming off a big win over the former title challenger Gilbert Burns. He has finished three of his five fights in the UFC in the very first round. Borz is a heavy favourite going into the fight this weekend.
Usman recently lost his title at the hands of Leon Edwards in a fight that he was dominating. While it looked like another successful defence from the undefeated UFC champion in the very last minute of the fight he was KO’d brutally. The loss ended his reign as P4P king and as an undefeated UFC champion.
A lot of people have recently argued that such a brutal knockout changes a fighter in many ways. Khamzat has also the same opinions about the former Welterweight king. He believes that the loss would have made him feel like he’s a human too.

Chimaev stated on the UFC 278 main event fight, “It was a crazy fight, good fight, I learned a lot of things about that fight. It was funny to watch, [Usman] was too much high up. I’m gonna fight with Canelo, and he got shot. He wasn’t focused and he said, ‘I’m always focused,’ and a lot of things. ‘I want to make money.’ Leon comes and shot his head, dropped the guy.”
The Borz further stated, “I don’t think he’ll be the same guy again. In the mind. We’ve seen a lot of champions thinking, ‘Nobody can beat me,’ because he defend so many times, ‘Now I’m unbeatable,’ that kind of thing, and bam, somebody knock you out. Now you know you’re human, as well.”
