Bruce Buffer is a legendary announcer and one of the most well-known individuals in combat sports. And so is top UFC veteran Jim Miller. Buffer recently expressed concerns regarding announcing Miller for UFC 300. Here is what happened:
Bruce recently revealed to The Schmo on his YouTube channel that he did not like swearing at his job. Talking about Jim Miller’s request, Buffer said:
I don't like cursing in my job. I respect Jim's wishes. At this point, the answer is no. I'd go for Jim 'Friggin' Miller maybe.Bruce Buffer said
Miller made his UFC debut in the lightweight division. With numerous fights under his belt, Miller has sustained a lengthy and successful career in the UFC. As of now, his professional record stands at 37 wins, 17 losses, and 1 No Contest. Miller holds multiple records in the UFC. He holds the UFC records for most fights, most total wins, and most wins in the lightweight division.
Miller comes from a background in high school wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has competed in the octagon 46 times, earning $50,000 bonuses in 15 of his fights. In his most recent outing, he submitted Gabriel Benitez at UFC Fight Night 234. His next fight is against Bobby Green at UFC 300 this April at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
