On his YouTube channel, Max Holloway recently released behind-the-scenes training footage of him in preparation for UFC 300. In the video, he hit pads and punched bags, honing his boxing skills. However, what caught the attention of the fans was the title, ‘Bulked up Max Holloway.’ As such, ‘Blessed’ looked bulkier than normal, gaining weight for his lightweight stint against the BMF Justin Gaethje.

Since the UFC booked this matchup earlier, Holloway had enough time to gain weight properly. As such, many expect an electrifying showcase between the two best strikers of MMA.

Approximately four years ago, Max Holloway took on Dustin Poirier in a lightweight bout at UFC 236. Although the fight was an instant classic, ‘Blessed’ lost the bout on the judges’ scorecards. Currently, he is on a two-fight win streak, and beating Gaethje would likely earn him a title shot at lightweight.
