Michael Bisping might be known for a lot of things, but foremost among them is his capstone achievement of having won the UFC title at 37 years of age.

These days, Michael Bisping works as a commentator for the UFC – bringing in a slew of newer reactions alongside those by Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan. Despite him not fighting anymore, fighters gravitate to doing interviews with him, because of a sense of solidarity that a fellow, albeit, former fighter projects.

That being said, it isn’t the case that his legions of fans have forgotten about his exploits within the cage. In a video that has surfaced, a number of fans can be seen having spotted “The Count” in a public restroom, to which they then serenade him with chants of “Ole, Ole, Ole” and “The Champ is here.”

It is good to see that the former middleweight champion took this experience in his stride – a lot of famous personalities refuse to entertain anyone while they answer nature’s calls.

Bisping’s career in the UFC might have been said to be hit or miss, if not for the middleweight championship triumph in the latter stages of the year. However, he still did have an impressive resume, and a brief look into will help the case.

Having entered the UFC in 2006, which is a staggering 16 years back, Bisping made his debut on The Ultimate Fighter Finale against Josh Haynes, which he won by unanimous decision. His first loss came against Rashad Evans in 2007, wherein he lost via split decision. However, one of the toughest defeats of Bisping’s career came at the hands of steely Dan Henderson, who brutally knocked him out and delivered one more punch just to seal the deal.

In 2014, having lost against the likes of Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva, Bisping also fell short via submission to Luke Rockhold. This, however, ignited a spark, somewhere as he went on to win six consecutive fights, including against Anderson Silva, and Luke Rockhold, who he beat to the title. Bisping could only defend the title once, before losing to Georges St. Pierre and Kelvin Gastelum.
