The final fight of the season was shown in Tuesday’s episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler. In Episode 12, Rico DiSciullo of Team McGregor squares off against Cody Gibson of Team Chandler to determine who will be the final contestant to fill a spot in the finals and face Brad Katona.
Additionally, with thousands of dollars on the line, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler faced off in the coaches’ challenge: an ice plunge trivia game. The season came to an end on Tuesday, and the live conclusion was scheduled for UFC 292 on Saturday.
The promotion also wants McGregor and Chandler to compete against one another months after the TUF is over. With multiple speculations about the fight, it is rumored that the fight is going to take place at UFC 296. In the same episode, Chandler’s team had a crawfish party, and the fighter certainly enjoyed the party.
“The crawfish were phenomenal. I ate like sixty of them,” Chandler said while describing his experience. On the other hand, McGregor took his team to dinner at Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis at Lorenzo Fertitta’s Green Valley Ranch casino in Las Vegas.

This year’s TUF season was successful in attracting a lot of attention from fight fans after Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were featured as the coaches. The competition between both superstars was sharp, and it led to many dramatic moments in the show. Recently, in an interview with ESPN MMA, Chandler explained how he gave it all to beat McGregor in TUF.
He said: “I wanted to beat Conor in every single thing. I wanted to show up and be a better coach, a better mentor, a better friend, beat him in the coaches challenge. Be better at him than everything. Because the fight itself, the build-up, the lead up, the ‘I am better than you’ started the day that we got there.”
According to Chandler, he wanted to be better than McGregor in everything, including coaching and mentoring, to hype their upcoming fight. The fighter also explained how McGregor tried his best to put on a great show for the fans.
