Brunno Ferreira recently called out Sharaputdin Magomedov at UFC Vegas 84 post-fight press conference. It was one among the many call-outs made during the press conference. After a stunning performance at UFC Vegas 84, Ferreira has eyed Magomedov as his next opponent. Here is what happened:

Brunno Ferreira started the year with a knockout win against Phil Hawes. A reporter asked Brunno about whom he would like to fight next and where. Ferreira replied to this: 

This fight was supposed to happen before. And he's already run away from me once. At the end of the day, I have a brother, I have a training partner in Bruno Silva. So he welcomed him into his home. So we would like to welcome him into our home so Shara Bullet we want to face him in Brazil.

Brunno Ferreira is an exciting new prospect in the UFC. The Brazilian contender competes in the middleweight division of the UFC. Nicknamed “The Hulk,” the 31-year-old Ferreira has won three of his four fights in the UFC by knocking down his opponent in the first round itself. He boasts a professional MMA record of 11 wins, one loss, and 0 draws.

Meanwhile, Sharaputdin Magomedov is a Russian UFC contender and former Muay Thai kickboxer. Last year, he made his debut in the middleweight division of the UFC. Nicknamed “Shara Bullet,” he started boxing at age 12 to learn how to defend himself on the streets. Magomedov later took up Muay Thai. With just one fight in the UFC, this middleweight prospect will reportedly feature next at the UFC Saudi Arabia Fight Night in March. Magomedov made his UFC debut against Bruno Silva and won the fight unanimously.

It was a brutal first-round knockout for Phil Hawes. The 31-year-old Ferreira showcased his knockout skill from the get-go. He ultimately got to Hawes with a series of devastating strikes. The finishing move was a nasty straight right. Brunno Ferreira followed this with a brutal ground-and-pound, leaving Hawes unable to continue.

This victory marked the third continuous loss for Hawes’ since 2022. Meanwhile, with just five fights in, UFC Vegas 84 solidified Ferreira’s position as a strong contender in the middleweight division of the UFC.
