A video of Jon Jones went viral on the internet earlier. It featured a fan asking Jones to kick him in the leg. Leg kick is one of Jon Jones’ best weapons. Jones did many meet-and-greet events while touring Australia. He has yet to return to active training after sustaining an injury in the latter half of 2023.
Jensen Dean made a huge mistake when he met the UFC heavyweight champion. He asked Jones to kick him in the leg once. Dean asked for another one since he felt unfazed by the first kick. When executed properly, a leg kick can cause severe pain. Jensen Dean found this aspect of leg kick in the worst way possible.

Recently, Jensen Dean shared what happened to him following the leg kicks on social media. His leg became bruised, and Dean required crutches to walk following the devastating leg kicks. Dean also had a battered hamstring. He is lucky not to have his hamstring torn completely. It takes up to six weeks to fully heal a torn hamstring.
One could learn a valuable lesson from the bruised leg – never ask a trained fighter for a leg kick. They are trained professionals and could hurt an average fan. In a way, a battered hamstring is not as bad as a torn hamstring. The fan accumulated that much damage from an out-of-shape Jon Jones. Imagine what would have happened if an in-shape Jones leg kicked him? Yes, the result might be worse.
Will Jon Jones fight Tom Aspinall after fighting Stipe Miocic?
Tom Aspinall became a must-watch heavyweight fighter after knocking out Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295. As such, fans have openly suggested a bout between Jones and Aspinall. Jon Jones is arguably the GOAT of MMA. On the other hand, Aspinall is the best heavyweight prospect in a long time.

Now that Aspinall has become the interim champion, the fans want a matchup between him and Jones. However, the bout has a small obstacle. Jones would rather fight Stipe Miocic than the interim champion. A portion of the fan base believed Jones would fight Miocic and retire. This means the Aspinall fight would never happen. However, Jones did not completely rule out retirement.
Jones told Submission Radio that his future in the sport would depend on his recovery from the shoulder injury. Furthermore, ‘Bones’ wanted to see how he would perform against Miocic. Hence, he has not ruled out a future fight against Tom Aspinall yet. Only time will tell what the future holds for Jones and Aspinall.
