MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz remains a controversial figure among UFC fans. He manages talents like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Kamaru Usman, Belal Muhammad, and Gilbert Burns. Ali has been accused of being an FBI informant and has a sketchy past during the time of 9/11. Despite the controversy, former President Donald Trump took a liking to Ali and brought him along during his presidential campaign. It appears that Ali repaid Donald Trump by publicly supporting him on Twitter.
Ali Abdelaziz wrote, “They are terrified of him but the bad news for them is that Trump will never quit.” Ali replied to a tweet from Richard Grennel. Grennel wrote, “The part where he’s the ultimate declassifier and doesn’t need to ask anyone. Which unelected bureaucrat is the President of the United States supposed to ask?” This is regarding Trump keeping official documents in his house.
There have been numerous heated discussions about Donald Trump. The Democrats have tried to stop Trump from running for the Presidency again. They have tried to use everything and anything against him. However, his supporters like Grennel and Ali supported Trump as “The Ultimate Declassifier.” Donald Trump continues to gain momentum and could easily win the Republican primary to become the Presidential candidate. Trump has a warm relationship with most fighters.
Ali has a dark history that came to light in recent years. When his fighters fought contenders like Colby Covington and Conor McGregor, the real-life controversy of Abdelaziz came to light. McGregor and Covington talked about the past life of Ali during the time of 9/11. Ali cannot leave the country for some undisclosed reason stemming from his past. Nevertheless, he has stayed loyal to Donald Trump.
Donald Trump and Ali Abdelaziz met in 2020
Ali Abdelaziz, along with his fighters Henry Cejudo and Justin Gaethje, went to attend a Donald Trump rally in 2020. They joined Colby Covington and Dana White at the rally. Ali took a picture with Donald Trump and publicly supported Trump in the 2020 Presidential elections.
Trump warmly welcomed the UFC-associated fighters at the rally. He spent extensive time with the fighters Ali and Dana White. Despite the support, Trump ultimately failed in 2020. He will attempt to return once again in 2024.
In 2022, Ali shared tweets supporting the former President over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Despite having a controversial past, Ali appears to be loyal to the billionaire. Ali and his fighters have continued to support Trump for the 2024 Presidential elections, and soon they will join Trump at the rally once the election race heats up.
