During the build-up to the fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Mcgregor called Ali “a snitch” and “a terrorist.” They have been beefing ever since the Conor Khabib bus incident in 2018. Conor McGregor has not fought since his devastating leg injury suffered in 2021. He is on a two-fight losing streak, losing both bouts against Dustin Poirier in 2021. Ali Abdelaziz could not travel to England to support Kamaru Usman because he could not leave the country. In 2019, investigative journalist Mike Russel reported that Ali could not leave the country as last he did. He was arrested for leaving without permission and has not left since.
