Former UFC fighter Jake Shields has gotten very lucky and found the love of his life. The veteran MMA fighter does not even mind sending 15,000 dollars to the woman for helping her travel to the USA. Fans were deeply touched by Shields and his love story and recalled similar experiences that happened to them.
Veteran MMA fighter Jake Shields has gained a lot of notoriety over his views regarding transgender people. His insensitive comments have been the target of people’s ire several times. Jake Shields received a fake message from a fake user account of a woman named Lisa. The woman addressed Shields as Kevin in the messages and also sent him a photo. While the message clearly appeared to be a scam from a fake account, he believed some trolling would do no harm. The veteran fighter took to Twitter and posted this interaction with an amusing backstory. He also added he send her $15,000 so that she can get her visa sorted out and come to meet him.
“This beautiful girl text the wrong number and now we are dating. I just sent her 15k so she can get her visa and come see me. Anyone else have this kinda good luck?” tweeted Shields. The fans in the comment section also went along with the story and the whole comment section was filled with trolls.

Shields received a scam message from a fake account wanting to start a conversation. Accounts like these dupe people into giving them their money under the pretence of helping a good-looking woman. His comment section was filled with like-minded people who went with the flow and continued the joke. A user entered a similar event that occurred to him and posted a screenshot of his chats with the account. Meanwhile, there were a few who were genuinely concerned for Shields as they thought he had fallen for the trap.
