The UFC has added a new contender to its illustrative flyweight roster. Mongolian fighter Nyamjargal Tumendemberel has signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC. Fight fans were definitely excited about this new addition to the UFC. Fighters like Brandon Moreno, Alexandre Pantoja, and Mohammed Mokaev will have a new threat in their division. Nyamjargal Tumendemberel is also known as the “Art of Knockout.” He is undefeated in his MMA career, with eight incredible wins. Tumendemberel competes in the flyweight division. He currently ranks 133rd among top fighters in this weight class. Tumendemberel has strong striking, clinch, and ground game.
Tumendemberel has won two reserve fights at last year’s Asia Road to UFC. He began his MMA career back in 2020 at Mongol FC: Fight Night 02. Tumendemberel comes from a nomadic herding background. This instilled in him a strong spirit of fighting inherited from his culture.
The MMA community is expecting a promising career from the new UFC prospect. His predecessor, Danaa Batgerel, is the first UFC fighter from Mongolia. He competes in the bantamweight division and has been a professional since 2011. Batgerel last fought in 2023 at UFC Fight Night: Pavlovich vs. Blaydes and is currently riding a consecutive three-fight loss.
