A new MMA promotion is in town to provide competition to the likes of UFC and Bellator. United Fighter League aka UFL will be debuting on 18 February. UFL will be live this Saturday with the main event headlines by former UFC fighter Jardon and Former Bellator Fighter Demarques Jackson in a Lightweight bout.

However, UFL has brought something new to the table that can be revolutionary for the sport of MMA. UFL’s founder Harrison Rogers has announced that the promotion will be covering the fighter’s medical bill.

This decision can change the complete landscape of MMA as promotions like UFC have failed to do so. Moreover, many fighters like Francis Ngannou moved away from the promotion because they wanted such a clause in their contract.
