“Can’t solve the puzzle”- Paddy Pimblett reacts to Terrance McKinney’s callout

Following an impressive finish by Terrance McKinney at UFC Vegas 59, he called out Paddy Pimblett for a fight. McKinney had a list of fighters he wants next which also included the UFC’s new up-and-comer, Paddy. Both the fighters have debuted in the UFC last year.
Paddy Pimblett made his octagon debut in September 2021. He is currently 3-0 in the promotion having finished all his opponents. The Baddy has picked up three Performance of the Night bonuses. He is also a former Cage Warriors Featherweight champion. In his three fights in the octagon, he has become a fan favourite fighter. He recently defeated Jordan Leavitt by submission at UFC Fight Night 208.
On the other hand, Mckinney has lost one of his four fights in the octagon against Drew Dober at UFC Fight Night 203. He was on a 5 fight-winning streak before the loss. T.Wrecks was scheduled to fight Erick Gonzalez earlier this month. He picked up the win in the first round by submission. He is currently 13-4 in his MMA carrier.

Paddy Pimblett wouldn’t turn down a fight with Terrance McKinney if it was offered to him
With The Baddy becoming a megastar slowly, he has become a potential money-making fight in the lightweight division. This has attracted a plethora of callouts, not limited to that which he received earlier this month from T.Wrecks. Both the fighters have become one of the most thrilling fighters in the division with their dominant finishes.
In a recent interview, Paddy Pimblett responds to T.Wrecks callout. Paddy was at UFC San Diego last weekend. Reacting to the callout he told MMA Fighting, “Everyone wants to fight me, He’s got less than 100,000 followers and I’m at 1.8 million or something. you know what I mean, That’s why they want to fight me. But also, I’m not a very scary dude.”
“I don’t look that intimidating. People think ‘I can beat him,’ but when you get in the cage with me and you’ve got to solve the puzzle, you can’t.” He further added. The Baddy further revealed that he has interacted with McKinney in the past on Twitter. He stated, “In the past, we spoke on Twitter and we actually said we would probably fight in a few years down the line, when it’s a main event on a proper big card.”
The Baddy concluded by stating, “But he’s obviously seen how I blew up and he wants to jump the queue and jump the bandwagon now. I don’t mind. I’ll fight anyone. We’ll see what happens over the coming weeks with a few lightweight results and we’ll see what happens.”
