The UFC had enough foresight to reverse this decision a month later and seems like Ottman is back in the good graces of the company. Pimblett will face Ottman at the scheduled return of the UFC to London with a fight night event that will also feature Alexander Gustaffson and Nikita Krylov. The main event for the card is yet to be decided.

Paddy who has previously been a two-division cage warriors champion will face his toughest test yet to date in Ottman if this fight gets finalized. Azaitar has had two fights in the UFC both of which gained him a performance of the night bonus. Ring-rust has to be a factor to be taken into consideration as Paddy has been way more active compared to two years of inactivity on Ottman’s side.

The winner of this fight will probably earn himself a place in the top 15 of the lightweight division or at least a Top 10 ranked opponent next. Paddy who has previously shared his hesitancy in signing up for a bout against high ranking opponents for a smaller purse will face the perfect storm in an unranked but tested prospect in Ottman Azaitar
